I had the pleasure of being asked to review a new book “Management by Permission” – here at the launch event with the author Tony McNulty last week. Fresh and up-to-date, Tony and his colleague Robin Marks capture the wisdom of previous management generations in a practical framework based on four ground rules ready for the 21st Century. Illustrated with a series of humorous cartoons the book is not only well researched but also an enjoyable read. If you are looking for a new approach to management training this would be my pick.
